Stamped overlay or spray texture is a process used over existing concrete or pea
stone.
It
takes ordinary concrete or pea stone to a new dimension. We can apply a 1/8” or
¼” of pure Portland concrete over your existing surface. Before you break out
your old concrete, give us a call.
Our
process starts with measuring your square footage and determining which process
you are interested in. The next step is to select a color and pattern.
Job
start:
Step 1
Pressure wash entire surface, Treat cracks and remove expansion joints.
Step 2
Spread a squeegee coat (like pancake mix) over the surface to bond with the
concrete.
Step 3
Spray or spread the concrete down, depending on which surface you selected.
Step 4
Stamp the concrete into the selected pattern.

Step 5
Antique the stamped surface.
Clean area of paper and tape from spray texture.
Step 6
Seal the stamped area with a clear seal using shark grip for a non slip
surface.
